9. Repair History

Aircraft ran off runway at Indianapolis Metropolitan May 19, 2007. Experienced nose gear collapse and prop strike. Parts replaced were: New Firewall, both nose gear doors, engine mount, lower nose gear strut, nose gear actuator. Additionally, there was some minor lower cowl abrasion which was fiberglassed, sanded and repainted. Workmanship is outstanding. There is absolutely no fuselage involvement apparent to naked eye nor in records. The cowling repaint in invisible. The engine was sent to Lycoming for a teardown inspection. While there Lycoming replaced a lot of parts that should add considerable life to this engine.
